Dr. Comport’s staff represents more than 100 years serving the needs of our dental families. This caring team maintains high standards of dental care through seminars and workshops in oral health research and techniques. They love providing our patients with optimal treatment and providing tools to maintain a healthy mouth and beautiful smile.

Melissa Terrones' warm smile welcomes all of our patients to our office. She is the cheerful voice one hears say, “Dr. Comport’s office. Melissa, our scheduler, works with our patients to find the most convenient time for their dental treatment. In her time away from the office, she is busy taking care of her 1 year old daughter!

Kim Fickle, RDA, joined our team as front office assistant/chairside in August 2008. Kim recently earned her AS degree with honors from San Jose City College.  She is a graduate of Santa Teresa High School. Kim likes being outdoors, especially planting flowers in her garden. "I like to make people feel good; then I go home feeling good."

Paula Graziano, our practice and insurance coordinator, is the glue that holds our office together. She goes the extra mile to ensure all of our patients receive fair compensation from their dental insurance provider. She has been with the practice for over18 years, and is the proud grandmother of 14.

Suzanne Solmonson, Registered Dental Hygienist, has provided excellent care to our patients for more than 30 years. Suzanne offers an atmosphere of fun and familiarity as she experiences the pleasure of third-generation dental care-giving. Many moms and dads recall her stories of Mr. Thirsty and Buzzy Bee, as Suzanne teachers their children the importance of good oral hygiene. Suzanne is the proud mom of two grown sons and loves gardening and bird watching.

Terry Roman, Registered Dental Hygienist, is recognized by our patients for her gentle and thorough approach to their dental care. She particularly likes to work with seniors and helps Dr. Comport at a San Jose nursing home where he is staff dentist. Terry and her husband have three grown children, a son just returned from Iraq, another son fought the fires in San Diego, and her daughter is a well-known hairdresser.

Diane Cardoway, Registered Dental Assistant, provides a calm and comforting presence for our patients while she assists Dr. Comport, and is our office equipment fix-it person. In 1996, Diane helped Dr. Comport launch the children’s clinic in Franklin McKinley School District. Diane loves animals and serves as a foster shelter for our county’s humane society.
